Please stop playing new champs in ranked - Can we get them prema banned for a month?

Listen, I get it. You played the new champ on the PBE and went 20-2. You are a badass. You are so good. But please for the love of all things, stop playing Sylas or any other new champ in ranked games. I bring this up because I have come across so many shit shows in ranked literally LEARNING the champion.

Example: I was sitting in lobby, hovering or banning Sylas. Luckily, everyone my team hovered their preferred champion. No Sylas in sight. So I figure, cool, no need to ban. THEN our mid is last pick and decided he wanted to switch last minute and sure as shit locks in this flaming garbage can. Well, I'm not going to roll the dice, so I op.gg and fuckin A man. Just TODAY the guy played 5 ranked games in a row, fed is ass off in all of them and lost all of them. Now he wants to bring that shit into my game? So now I have to take a dodge penalty and lose some LP just to avoid playing with this guy.

Can we please just have new champs perma -banned form ranked for like a month when they come out? So people don't try to learn them in ranked?

It's just as easy to get someone who feeds their ass off on Yas as it is to find someone who feeds on a new champion. It's rarely about the champion and more about what kind of player the person is.

Don't get me wrong, you definitely get some people who try to Day 1 a new champ without playing them first but that's why you ban that shit until it's been out for like a week. After a week, people have had enough time to learn how to play that champion effectively IMO.

On the topic, i'm now a Sylas main, after practicing him non-stop since his release. He's by far my most played (and in proportion to games played, highest win rate) champion.

The champion has been out for one and a half week. That's plenty of time to get more practice on him than you have on ANY of your favourite champions.

Please stop judging how other people play (and using them as scapegoats for your own horrendous performance) and instead focus on your personal play.

At this point if it bothers you this much just ban him/don't touch ranked for a couple weeks
