Queuing for support as either primary or secondary now gives you a buff for the next game if you got chosen for support in the current one.
The next game they have a 100% chance to get their primary role.
Suddenly many players learn to support and play it 50% of their games as a secondary, rather than having to avoid ever putting it as secondary because it's hugely uncommon to not get support if it's in one of your picked positions.
I would love for this to be the case if they could find a way to make sure the player actually played support that game. I know many who would support secondary except it really means support primary right now. Even if it was 2 support games for one primary it would be better than right now.
I beleive that this is already a thing. In the old client, there is a little stamp next to your que-up button that sometimes says that since you played support/filled in the last couple games, you are garunteed to get your primary (I think) role in this game. It's just that Riot didn't make a super-big deal about it, and people don't check all the little buttons.
