Anyone remember that game?

I was so happy to have a MOBA on PS4 that was not Smite. ( I just do not like playing Smite. )

Then came Paragon. It was beautiful, fun, and had varied heroes that were all effective. Ranked never came out, they wanted the game to be more E SPORTS ready.

So they kept trimming the time to kill. They kept balancing around SHORTER MATCHES and the majority of the community did not like this. Eventually being a tank was trolling, damage was just ridiculous. The game failed, and was shut down.

This whole " E SPORTS " balancing in games, seems to be their downfall. More often than not.

Bring back tanking. Bring back long, difficult games where it seems like an actual 50/50 fight. This game now is literally feast or famine on every champion.

At least that is how I feel about it.

I also preferred watching the pro league games seasons back. This years worlds was extremely underwhelming.

I don't know -- I personally loved it. I get the critiques, but this year's world's had some of the weirdest and most interesting games I've seen. They weren't all edge-of-your-seat, but they were fun. Definitely something subjective, of course.

I've seen a bit of the feast/famine in-game, of course, but I think the extent to which it is complained about exceeds the actuality. There may still be a bit too much snowballing, but I find that when I play a tank I still feel durable -- just not invulnerable. I find I still have ways to get back into games as long as they're not too far out of control, and those that are very far out of control at least end pretty quickly.

paragon did not fail because of the game "become bad" lots of people i knew enjoyed it in even its darker times, paragon failed becasue the same people who ran it, also ran fortnite and decided to put all resources into their main money maker. Plain simple.

Also literally everyone is praising this to be one of the best and most enjoyable worlds in history. So yeah, your kinda alone here.
