Are Riot scared of touching Irelia??

You know I don't like to call champions broken but Irelia has been a consistent problem now for as long as long I can remember with her great gap close, insane true damage and fairly modest cc, and the ability to still be so useful in tfs no matter how far behind she fell in lanning. With her countless nerfs... well lets be honest it hasn't really made an impact, it's obvious it's her kit that's the problem. I was wondering why has Irelia been left in this state for so long? Is it possible they don't have another Olaf repeat? maybe they don't want to add another butchered champion to the list? So seriously wtf?? obviously it's something there not even thinking about considering they just released a new skin for the champion. So why WHY has Riot just decided to turn a blind eye and refuse to acknowledge this champion insane strength's?? Please Rito..

They will nerf Irelia when all of GD bites their pride and admits Morello was right.

Would help if her E was physical. They nerfed the damage but there is no way to itemize against an Irelia that is ahead

You realize that she spikes with Triforce and then falls off right?

You don't itemize against her, you merely hold out until the hyper carries, and the Hyper Tanks get fed.

Riot is probably busy looking at the almost viable champs to buff for the summer split. (and later worlds) Even if Irelia has been a consistent problem I would assert that it was a fairly minor one. Compared to more recent problems like say, top lane Cinderhulk.

People just hate a certain champions guts. Champion X does this, and everyone hates them for it. Except champion X is suppose to do this. So people claim that a champion has a problem, because it does exactly what it's suppose to do. You could argue that champion X does not pay enough for doing this. But people will still complain that the nerf don't target THIS.

Inherently, Irelia's kit is fine. Her Sustain on her E and her ult Make her a fair Bruiser/Duelist. And because she has only one dash, CC on only one ability, and her ult is her only multi target spell. Her kit is by no means Overloaded.

If irelia was nerfed you'd see ranged Champs take over top lane again since she's pretty much the only melee who can consistently fight ranged cheese.

I'd much rather have irelia than kennen or vayne like in season 3
