Ward Placement - Visual Update
Suggestion: Ray traced / bi-coloured indicator (The indicator isn't active enough)
Situation: Imagine a ward has just been placed bang in the centre of the bush near the 2nd mid turret. Problem: The indicator shows a complete disk of vision that will be granted, but the vision is blocked by terrain. The actual granted vision is more of an hourglass shape. Implication: Lower level players do not consider the implications of their ward placements and mid tier players get frustrated at the poor placement by their teammates. Solution(s): 1: Ray traced ward visual - lines emitted form the centre of placement stop at any obstructing, wall or bush. 2: Keep the full disk but colour code the areas, blue for open placement vision, green for bush placement vision (currently the crosshair changes colour, but not the disk) and red for any obstructed vision.
I initially thought of this just for bot games but figured it may make for better gameplay of PvP too.
