New Players MMR should start in bronze, not silver

Part of the reason Silver ELO is such a toxic hate mongering mess of players, is because the wide disparity in skill level. I don't get why placing people who just went 1/9 in placements, that should probably be bronze 5, into silver makes sense. I just played with a guy who was silver 5, with a 30% winrate over 40 games. Theres no reason whatsoever, that he should have been placed anywhere but bottom end bronze.

I get that silver is statistically average and thats the basis behind it, but it tears up silver elo having random new players playing all the time. Its like last weeks flex queue blunder, year round.

OR.. make sure that newbie people get placed with newbie people.. never match them with 3-season players

I'm not sure how this year's placement goes but didn't before you would get matched with random MMRs to see where you belong so you could be facing Bronze and up to Golds for placements? For my first placements in season 4 (first time ranking too) I played pretty much against all golds in all of my placement matches and got placed Silver 2 because of it.
