Self-Cast Smite to activate Raptor Buff

I think we're all tired of our raptor buff going off because an enemy places a ward two feet away from us in some spot that's not very practical or useful, why not give Smite a self-cast use? This would allow for more skillful play with the buff and less frustrating instant-use situations.

Its happened to me a few times, but its usually because of someone warding the bush behind red, which is a valid place for people to ward.

But come to think of it, would be a good way to negate that buff to your opponent. Just drop a ward next to their raptor camp so they lose the buff immediately. Thanks for the idea~

As a mid laner, I frequently throw a ward over there to both know when an enemy jungler is at that camp, as well as deny that buff from clearing anything important in the river.

I typically throw the ward right in the middle as opposed to in the brush, that way I can see both pathways. (I'm pretty sure this is the ward that OP is irritated about.)

No, I literally mean when somebody tosses a ward right down in front of you just out of panic to see if anybody else is trailing behind you while they run. But yes, it's frustrating to have that camp brush warded, smite it, instantly have your buff go off just because they decided to ward a common place that has been established far before this buff ever existed. People need to stop acting like that's counterplay.

No. As a jungler I like the 'counterplay' to warding enemy raptors and then putting a ward where I actually want vision.

So let's make a useless buff that should deny vision when there's an excess of vision of the game so that people can tout that there's enough counterplay for vision!
