Care to explain the reason behind Yasuo's HP nerfs?

I'm not even sure what you were thinking, as someone who plays him often I don't like the fact you shaved 100HP off his base Health, that's a lot, even more for the fact he's melee and has insanely low base armour stats. Sure, he did have a powerspike, but it's not because he had 100 more health, and that 100 health makes a massive difference from 1 - 11. You have stagnated him into playing passive.

I versed an Azir and all he did was W and then Q them at me and 30% of my HP was gone, Syndra is just a lost lane, as the moment she hits 6 her ultimate is pretty much 70% of your health. Yasuo's power came from his passive and windwall. Here's what I personally would have done to balance Yasuo.

Passive: Instead of it being doubled, he does 25% more critical damage, stacks with IE. ^This will also remove his low level 70% Crit chance cheesing. ^^I'm open with more balanced suggestions with this, I was thinking about just giving him 25% more crit instead of double.

Windwall: Upped the cooldown by 10 seconds at all levels. ^This ability needs to be used at the right time, not constantly. Heck I'd even go to give it a 60 second cooldown at level 1. This ability can block ultimates, not just one but multiple. It's whole design is gamebreaking.

I think that would have removed him from the spot he used to be, instead of pulling him down to earlygame trash tier. With his base HP you now must start Dorans else you will get one combo'd in lane. Yep.. a Viegar one combo'd me at level 5 while I had magic resist.

Thanks for reading, I guess. Post improvements on him. I'd like to see him back at his former glory, the HP nerfs where uncalled for.

As someone who plays Yasuo, I'm sure you're aware that Yasuo's intended/defined weakness is supposed to be his early game. You're pretty much meant to loose lane to ranged champions (if you can't outskill them by a lot), but in return you'll have a really good lategame (which you do since Yasuo is a meele adc). Increasing the Windwall cd really wouldn't do anything and your suggestions for the passive would just make him a more RNG based champion (whereas the passive currently does the opposite, which is good).

I personally think it was either this or nerfing his early game damage, and that would have pretty much made him none-existent early.

Actually, Yasuo's base health was cut by 50, not 100.

The point of the hits was to make Yasuo players think more about their engages at early level, as opposed to the face roll they were in the past.

Hi Necromancer

The point of his base health cut was that he has a early weakness for his strong lategame. So when you feel it in the lvl 1-11 they achieved what they where looking for. But i have to say i like your idears more (althought the numbers had to be discussed) because i see the same problematic in his windwall with the "low" cd for what it can provide. Maybe just let windwall on a fix cd (26-30 sec.) and switch crit increase passive with the windwall passive and let the crit. be double again at max W (maybe then throw out the 10% dmg reduce on crit. so it would be a little late buff...i dont know) and let the windwall passive scale with lvl (maybe lvl 6/11/16 ? )

The point was shitty bronze v players QQ'ed about him so they found some random thing to nerf about an otherwise balanced champion.

Theres also the fact that hes randomly banned 80% of the time because bans in solo queue are pretty much based entirely on what sheep think is overpowered in competitive and they are extremely slow to adapt given that Yasuo hasnt been must pick or ban in competitive for quite some time.

Riot just see him have a high ban rate so Riot decided to nerf him. It's terrible.
