Our support said "I'd rather have a player that isn't good than a good player that is toxic."
Man fuck that, I would rather have a toxic player who knows what they're doing than a handicap person with a good attitude. This is a competitive game and I'm trying to climb. Flame all you want but at least be good at what you're doing.
Toxic people are generally horrible to work with. And not just personally. I mean following calls, not 1v5'ing. Basic Teamwork Shit. It's almost as if flamers lack the bigger picture. Ya know, the one that tells you among other things that flaming is dumb and juvenile...
Toxic people make a game less fun, even if you win that game.
Rather have 20 minutes of pleasantness and lose than 40 minutes of me wishing I can just turn my computer off and not be punished and win.
I've had games where I'd rather have lost, due to the toxic players in my game, than win. Winning means nothing if you feel like absolute garbage by the end of it. It entirely defeats the purpose of this being a game, competition or not.
