People need to stop focusing so much on their kda scores and more about objectives and farm

Granted kills do make a difference in this game, but people get so easily tilted and give up especially in early game if the team has is as little as three kills behind the enemy team and starts spamming "ff at 15", afk, rq, or just keep yelling at their teammates until the game is all done and good. They also then spend the entire game only defending turrets, flashing under enemy turrets to secure kills (and dying as a result), ignoring EVERY dragon buff where the jungler is up top lane farming 30 seconds before dragon respawns, and neglect farming cs.

CS is one of the most important parts of the game, I don't remember the exact amount but about 15 cs is the equivalence of a kill. If your enemies have a few extra kills, then get a couple waves of cs and you should catch up.

A big reminder that the game does not end when either team aces the other one in a team fight or the carries get a pentakill, the game ends when the nexus explodes, your team could be over 20 kills behind and still win the game if they spend the entire game split pushing.

Please take a deep breath and stop focusing on the trees when you have a whole forest to burn down.

I would even say less about farm.

Objectives are the lifeblood of winning. Focus on those and everything else will fall into place.

but KDA helps you get high rank high rank gets you chests chests give you skins

-> kda matters like seriously, i'm struggling to get S (-,+,neutral) more than winning games >.> its like, winning a game is easy, getting an S rank happens once in a blue moon

Good luck trying to get todays player base to understand common sense.

Used to be a handful of trash playing online and now it is the opposite.

Considering some lanes are flat out over if you give your laner one maybe two kills just due to how they have EXP, CS, and a kill on you. Snowballing is very strong right now.

SnakDatSmilesBak1 votes

Actually I'd argue snowballing is very slow in low elo now compared to its rate before the catchup experience was changed.

NineTailedMystic1 votes

It's still quite possible for a snowballer to be 1 to 2 levels ahead of their laner depending on the state of the minions when they died/got forced back. I'm often appalled at how I'm a level and a half down after getting back to lane from a death

SnakDatSmilesBak1 votes

Yeah but in low elo you can often find the enemy overstaying in that situation. In low elo there are so many mistakes by both teams that snowballing is slow.

Executioner

Low elo, are we saying just bronze, or are we including bronze, and silver? Leaving Gold out since they are in the middle pack.

SnakDatSmilesBak1 votes

Nah I'm including gold in low elo. Honestly we suck here in gold, I see so many mistakes like that even in gold.

You wouldn't be surprised how many times I have to tell my support to dont play so aggressive. I swear people are so fucking trigger happy.

SnakDatSmilesBak1 votes

Playing aggressively doesn't equate to not going for objectives, just clarifying that.

Raiyza1 votes

I should have been specific. I'm rreferring to only CSing. I get a ton of supports that try to harass too hard and they expect me to dive in with them. When it backfires, I lose CS. Drives me nuts.

Thank you for saying this. Anytime somebody wants to ff in ranked, i always say the game isn't over until the nexus explodes. Then I usually get raged at for "trolling".

Players biggest flaw is kills in this game. Most players who play would rather lose the match and have 50 kills, and very few deaths, then taking the towers down, and ending the game when they have a high lead. They get a enjoyment out of killing and messing with the enemy team. I could care less if someone has 20 kills in under 10 mins of game play. Those kills and your skills don't mean anything if you choose not to use them to end the match fast, and not let the enemy team build, and change the game. You will never be a great player by having the most kills. Great players push and end games fast and move on to the next. They don't waste 40 mins showing there skills off. Once they ace they end the game even if there health is sitting at 150. They don't TP back to base to do it all over again to get a rise out of the enemy team. They are there to win, and not mess around. That's low elos biggest flaw. I have raged and afked in match's because of players enjoying messing with the enemy team and not pushing to end the match. Being forced to sit in a game and watch your win go out the window because the team is having to much fun messing with the enemy team rather then pushing to end the match is gut punching. The most stupid thing those players do at the end of there own loss is demand the player that wants to end the game fast get reported. Most of the time that player is the one that has more deaths because he or she kept dying trying to kill the tower to end the game.

When the honor system comes in the person I will honor the most is the one wanting to end the game to win, and not the one who wasted 30 mins of my time trying to get the most kills.

Honestly, is that a NA thing? In my games people don't give up that easily.

I'm pretty sure its just a League thing, I don't play on EU often but I've played with a smurf for a friend on EUW and watched some streamers in the region and it gets as bad sometimes. Like most people don't tilt after a death or two but certain players flip the fuck out of they see even one teammate die 3+ times and act as if the sky is falling.

Agreed fully. I've had so many teammates either focusing on preserving their kda after getting a few kills and would instead farm up to late-game, which is basically just giving the enemy time to catch up. The only times you play for late-game is when you're losing badly and you have champions that can actually carry, e.g Veigar, Nasus, etc.

I play in EUW where immediately when someone makes a mistake, they get flamed for all hell and either start trolling or just try to outright annoy you like stealing farm just to piss you off, which they could've spent the time on actually playing. In general, I would mute the player(s), but it feels too much of a bot game and would be boring. I would always remember that League of Legends is a video-game. If you're trying to just troll or not try as hard, play with your friends or someone that also wants to do so. But it's still a competitive game. Focus on winning, not pointing out every mistake they do.
