Nerfing Tiamat

When the items got nerfed in the latest patched Riot also nerfed Tiamat making it so it no longer attacks all enemies surrounding early game. Only by the 3 key does it do so.

Has this affected your game play? Do you have slower starts getting a snowball?

Do you like the old Tiamat better when making Hydra?

I feel like it was nerf to champions who really needed the passive to help them farm, but because of the price reduction, i think it is a buff to champions that are using it more for the stats and building into the Hydra items as it is much easier to do so now. The active is still great for bursting down champs in your all in and can help you push a wave or clear a camp a little faster, but I understand that some champs are missing the passive as it was very effective at clearing waves quickly. Personally, I like the change as I always thought that Tiamat was too expensive of a component item and I felt that more people were building it as a core item to sit on for a while and they weren't really aiming to finish it into Ravenous Hydra as they got enough power from the component item itself.

its gold value has been buffed and its made so that you can buy half an item and still not screw over your laning phase by forcing yourself to automatically push. for junglers tho, it sucks now.

I actually like the way it is now due to the price reduction, you get the item 650 gold sooner. I no longer build it on basically any jungler, but it's still a pretty solid item, it serves a lot of it's purpose still in other forms, largely through animation cancelling.

I'll also admit I like the ability to freeze lane early on now that the cleave doesn't happen, it used to be like Tristana trying to freeze lane, it just doesn't work.

I just wish Rageblade didn't do the exact same thing but is cheaper. The only real difference is the lifesteal.
