See, some of us were on the receiving side, where a Fiora ulted with 1 HP and came out with 100% and a pentakill. No thanks.

Honestly, her old ult wasn't very bad.

One, it was very visually satisfying. Who doesn't like a good Omnislash? A lot more exciting than seeing a circle around your enemy. Secondly, the claim that it "had no counterplay" is ridiculous. Zhonyas, proper positioning and bushes, spreading the damage over multiple teammates, armor... Not to mention all the skills in the game that make you untargetable/invulnerable (troll poll, alpha strike, Vlad's pool, Jax's E, Liss ult, Kayle ult, Tryn ult, Bard ult, etc) or stealth'd (Vayne ult, Akali's shroud, etc). Seriously, she's the GRAND DUELIST. That might tell you that you want to position properly and not try to 1v1 her if you are both even mid/lategame.

Now can her ult deal a crapton of damage even when your team was grouped up if she's incredibly ahead? ABSOLUTELY. But it is an ULTIMATE ABILITY. If she gets fed then she should be rewarded. The ult MIGHT have been a little strong (though there's probably a reason why she was rarely seen at higher elos).

Her ult was far beyond unsalvageable. Let's look at the last change to Blade Waltz:

V4.20:

Blade Waltz Base damage reduced to 125 / 255 / 385 from 160 / 330 / 500. Bonus attack damage ratio reduced to (+90% bonus AD) from (+120% bonus AD). Damage on consecutive hits increased to 40% from 25%.

This was definitely a step in the right direction. If they really wanted to take it a step further then all they had to do was reduce the base damage further and increase the damage on consecutive hit so that it emphasized her role as a 1v1 / 1v2 duelist/skirmisher.

I mean, Tryndamere, Jax, Master Yi, Udyr are allowed to have their strengths placed in strong dueling and mediocre team fights, why shouldn't the GRAND DUELIST? Full build Fiora used to be able to give full build Tryndamere and Jax a run for their money as top-dog melee duelist through proper timing of her skills, but now it's a no-contest. When 1v1s can last less than 2 seconds and teamfights less than 5, Fiora doesn't have time to AA, pause, move around behind the enemy, pause, AA, move to the front of the enemy, pause, AA, move to the left of the enemy, pause, AA, etc all the while getting her head bashed in by a sword larger than her entire body by a full-rage Tryndamere or getting CC'd and blown to pieces by the rest of the enemy team.

With that said, there's not a chance in hell that it's coming back. And that's an understatement.

if they change back the ultimate then say goodbye to EVERY other buff fiora has gotten in the rework. no more true damage no more CC parry, no more slow and no more 3 secon q if you hit anything. all for one of the biggest cheese ultimate in the game.

Sorry suh, it's dead and buried. Fiora's ult needed to be nuked from orbit due to the style of champion she was. At least when Tryn ults you can still CC and use escapes vs him.

I am much more interested in the fencing fantasy than the finesseless brutal bludgeoning that was her previous combat style.

The new Fiora makes me not even want to play the game. I was the best Fiora now I'm the worst. I can't carry anymore. The nerf was overkill big time. I miss her old lunge too. They should of just named her a different name and made a new champ. Why wreak the best champ in the game? I feel bulldozed. And for everyone who likes it better I really wish you would play that ult on a different champ. Why Fiora?

I played fiora before her rework, and after, and I actually like the new better. SHe fits her theme so much better. SHe isn't as snowbally, true, you can't build her melee carry anymore, true, but she is a lot more interesting, then q- e q- r w as needed.

Rather than just sit here and sulk about it I have a better Idea. Why don't you oblige me creatively by making a new champ with the old Fiora's identical skills and calling her Liora (Her twin sister).

Because old fiora was an incredibly unhealthy champion who needed to be reworked in order to actually have counterplay.

That is not true.. Raamus is her counter, Nasus is her counter, Pantheon pokes her to death, Blitzcrank gives her tons of trouble, Malph is her counter, Signed is her counter... Garen, My friend wooped my ass using teemo. I wasn't afraid of anyone only because they didn't know how to play their counter champs right. It's a totally new champ. She shouldn't be named Fiora. My main just got smothered by this blah champ.

Because Hydra on Fiora was basically like Kassadin in Season 4. They will eventually get it, and when they do, they will just roflstomp your team regardless.

You know. There are a lot of "press r to win" ults out there. Like Riven for example. Why does she have to feel gimped as the others? This new ult they have on her does no justice.

Cause 1) The range and duration is incredibly short. A measly 8 seconds to get 4 hits on. You have 2 seconds to get a hit and god help you if you are cc'd. 2) They can literally see where fiora has to hit to proc. 3) She really has no tower dive/defensive capabilities with this ult. With the old ult if you were being tower dived, you could ult regain some hp and possibly garner a kill 4) if they are to make this new ult actually feel useful? They need to give lunge x2 charges and increased range to proc her passive. Next they need to double the duration from 8 to 16 seconds. and then increase the activation range by at least 100-200%

Now, Warwick Malzahar Syndra formally, Fiora , and to a slightly lesser extent Annie are the champs that had big damage, point and click Ult w/ no counterplay! One less is a win in my book!

Because with Hydra-BlackCleaver-LastWhisper You'd be shredding 25% of their armor, Penetrating 35% of the rest of it, and generally be taking 0 damage while gaining like 300 per hit..

I love her knew ult, I wish some of the heal was front loaded to help with teamights but oh well. If you can't handle the new Fiora just proves that old one was just broken.

Meh, I didn't care. I just played Rammus into whatever lane old Fiora went to and made her regret her decisions in life.

Doesn't magically make her old ult a worthwhile skill. And by the by, using the old Internet technique of "people who disagree with me have EVIL ULTERIOR MOTIVES" argument? That one was old in 1999. :P

Everyone who said no. ....... I bet you don't even play fiora. Riot was very disrespectful to ruin my champ. It's not even the same champ. The game is basically ruined.
