A Serious Auto-Fill Question

Alright, everyone complains about getting bad supports due to A-F and that no one likes to play Support. As a slightly biased Support main, I just want to know why no one likes to play Support, or even bother to learn to play it (Other than my few fellow Supp mains). What's so bad about Support? Literally buy and and you're a somewhat useful target in teamfights.

but when you go to play a game, you have in mind the way that you want to play, autofill just ruins that. I play support in ranked for the most part, but if i put mid/jung and get support, im not going to want to play that.
