Smurfing reportable?

Played a game against a Fizz mid who went 19/1. Kog said "report Yas inting" to which the Fizz replied, "not inting dumbass im a fuckign smurf". Smurfing isn't healthy for the game and ruins matchmaking for people actually trying to climb. Why shouldn't it be bannable?

If they made and leveled the account, there is absolutely no reason to ban them

Its way too hard to prove smurfing, so even if it was a bannable offense most people would not actually be banned for it.

How do you ban a smurf to begin with anyways ? They create a new account and play.... pros do it all the time, regular players do it etc it's nothing new nor will it ever be eliminated because who's to say maybe someone isn't a "smurf" as far as rank but is a really good Gold player in between Bronze - Silver - Gold elo's.

There's alot of good and bad reasons to make a smurf. Like practicing champs in ranked in another elo. Or to play with a friend who is new and leveling up.

Not reportable. Smurfing is definately a problem for some, but an answer for others. Because of this, Riot has no clue how to handle smurfs without causing an issue with the other group.

The MMR of said person would skyrocket and they would quickly be removed from the rank that they dont belong in to the rank that they do belong (such as them being gold IV, would go against a higher rank, etc.)
