Most of the supports didn't upgrade their support item to level 3 because it gave crap stats compared to finishing . So currently after completing the quest you have 1000 gold. Buy + and thats it. After this point you will probably finish your first item till the end of the game. With passive gold generation which is 18/g a minute is turns out that every 4 minutes you will be able to buy 1 control ward. Thats it. Its pathetic. If your team is ahead you will probably could afford more or if you could stole some CS. The problem is getting worse if team is behind. You now totally rely on your team after lane phase. The tank support wont have any health , the mages wont have any damage, the enchanters wont enchant. Well yea they will all do it but like crippled. This + the xp nerf + the new support items crap stats .... guys do you even remember the queue times when supports were at that bad spot ?

Btw yea I forgot to say that adc are at really bad state right now. And they nerf XP for them too.

And also you know which champ benefits those support changes. The only gold generating machine Pyke . He is the only one who can escape gold starvation after quest completion.

This is entirely because top laners have this complex where no matter how strong they are, they will continuously cry that adcs are op. All while actually skull fucking every adc into the dirt. And unfortunately they cry the loudest.

I mean seriously. Look at the past seasons god tier picks. Most of them have been fucking top laners with all 1 of them (arguably 2 I guess) being adcs.

Top laners (at least in my eyes) have the most influence in the team when it comes to teamfights. They are ahead in levels / farm / gold and and most of their kits allows to go in do some really good damage and get out. They take summoner 12 so their map presence is huge. Now they will be even more on top with the xp nerf to duo lanes. Riot sees duo lanes as one person playing the game. Which is not really like that. Bot lane should be the most influential lane because there are 2 players. Even top jungle streamers said that. 2 > 1. With how pathetic adc are and now the support nerfs its supposed that 2 people should be having the fun of 1 person.
