exhaust on adc

What do you guys think about exhaust on an adc in serious games? I found that using exhaust as an adc helps out a lot more in groupfights mid and late game. Like when those gap closers focus me i can exhaust so I dont die in like 3 seconds unlike heal which i find it to be not useful at all late game. I've been called a troll for using it but I found exhaust to help a lot more than heal every game. Even with both support and adc using exhaust as long as we dont overlap it at the same time it is really helpful. For mid and late games where the supp is unable to peel for me i can use exhaust on the one focusing me then the support can use exhaust on another carry for a better advantage compared to heal What do you guys think?

I think its just a lil more of an aggressive early game option.. not bad though, because late game you can really shred someone whos on ur ass and thers a 50/50 chance you will have some lifesteal.

There was a time when you'd get called a troll and reported for picking heal, and I won't lie I'm a little disappointed that times have changed and they've brought it back over time (those damn heal baits, man).

Exhaust is a perfectly viable choice, especially as a way to combat the mobility jungle. Not to mention I tend to see a lot of AD junglers (read: lee sin) so it could be useful against multiple team members. It is especially useful to set up ganks for your jungler if they aren't God Tier, where you will save a heal for yourself instead of assisting in a gank.

It is a perfectly valid pick.

if the adc were to take exhaust instead of heal, (in some cases) it would only be used to self-peel for the adc. while as the support, if a front liner, can use it on the enemy carry to maximize the damage reduced, and as a backup, like janna or nami, could still be used to peel for the adc
