Atleast from what I understand she kind of fits into all 3 categories
• She has a basic, high-damage burst combo but not as high as someone like Syndra tho • She has 3 AOE spells (soon her passive will be AOE if they go through with the new passive) and a blink which could make her a battle mage • But 2 of her AOE abilities are hard CC which could also make her a control mage
So what is she, or is she just ambiguous?
Control mages still have burst. not as high as Syndra or Veigar, but its there. All mages have some 'burst'
TBH I've always felt she fit 'battle mage' more than control mage, control mages tend to operate at range. Plus control mage kind of felt made up since there are so few, and they all fit into another niche anyway. Siege mages mostly have 2-3 CC skils
I'd go for battle mage, but also control and burst mage. Tbh i don't know
She's a battlemage largely focusing on control.
as someone that plays (or used to play) melee mid laners: a cancer mage LUL
but Riot considers her a burst mage, at least they did last year
Battlemage, but the type that focuses less on dueling potential and Tanky ness and one that focuses more on area denial and control similar to

She is an AoE burst mage. She doesn't have the high dmg as the other champs because all of her abilities are AoE.
Trust me a fed lissandra can 1 shot 4 squishys at the same time.
