so i q'ed up for top lane in ranked went jax (why tf did i go him am not even that good on him) ik he can crit,but why can he crit on his its on a low cooldown, and can be dodged but what about when he hits lv3, the second he nail the w and you don't have a ward hop/dash or escape your gonna get hit by q or if he is going to miss he can e to hit to crit then q again an again chunking your hp so why can he crit?

The “crit” on his q is purely visual. It is there to show you that the outer part of the q deals double damage. It doesn’t crit so there for doesn’t interact with IE. I know somebody that tested it and confirmed that it doesn’t actually crit. I know that feels weird but it is simpler for people to see.
