This post is focused on solo and duo queue, not normals and aram.

I need some help understanding why there is no voice chat in game for teammates. This is a communication based game where teammates needs to be on the same page, some say that one play can make or break a game. League is an extremely toxic community to the point where you give a teammate a tip and then they flame you and they start inting, doesn't make any sense why someone would get so upset. Most players in solo queue are genuinely upset. Video games are always going to have toxic people, such is the way of life. Riot tried to fix this by changing their honor system, seems to me like it made everything worse. I don't know for sure but I think players not having any efficient way to communicate to each other might be apart of the problem.

It's just the result of what you said:

Video games are always going to have toxic people, such is the way of life.

So the best choice is not to communicate with people at all while you play.

Is this post a joke?

They have voice chat for teammates that are in your party.

If they just let anyone with a mic on your team talk to you, that would 1. increase depression and suicide rates caused by the game and 2. Probably get Riot sued. I guess you must not have friends [cass-cry] If you really think Riot still doesn't have VC.

What about solo queue? lol, in which you can voice chat with 1 teammate.

Don't u get that it's a 5v5 game. NO PERSON is supposed to carry. The game is meant to be played by WHOLE TEAM not ONE PERSON. So whole team should carry! So your statement makes no sense at all.

If they can't fully control toxicity as you stated even through chat logs, then how does using Voice Chat improves anything?

Secondly, there is NO efficient communication if they choose to use it just to shit-talk people. Just like what they're doing in the chat box right now.

Either way, no one wants to deal with the toxicity we already deal with in chat from randoms, in voice with said randoms.

I don't think you are look at the bigger picture. Every video game has had flamers, flamers are everywhere. That is how life is. You can simply mute the player, which I previously stated. I mute all whenever I get into a game making it so I can only use pings to communicate, which does not work.

Yes, flame is in a lot of games. No, it's NOT WANTED. No one wants be told they suck, no one wants to be told to get cancer, no one wants be told to kill themselves. And most of all, no one wants to be told any of that through a voice chat. It's rude, will actually make most people play WORSE then they were before, and literally does NOTHING to make your teammates do any better.

You are a very negative individual. You look at worst case scenario for everything is this topic. What if there actually is a player on your team who wants to work together and win? Because there probably is, you just don't know it. If you take any of the stuff that a flamer says to you to heart, then you have bigger problems.

Okay, if there is, then why do YOU mute everyone at the start of the game? Huh? You're then missing out on what they're saying as well, because you mute then at the start of the game.

Same concept. Want to know if someone thought of a game-winning plan? Don't mute everyone. Voice chat isn't going to help if you're just going to mute them, because honestly? It's going to be the exact same as the chat we currently have available to everyone in the game. Either quiet other than maybe a muttered "fuck" every now and then, quiet altogether, full of: "fuck me.", "NO, SHIT", "i missed the canon god dammit", "-laughter-", literally just chatting about your day, and then the toxic idiots with maybe a few games where people actually do make good calls.

Which, again, you won't see because since you already mute chat at the start, you'll probably end up just muting voice chat at the start as well.

I mute everyone because League is too complex to communicate through typing, nobody ever gets their point across. You can use pings to set up game winning plays, it has happened. If voice chat in game for teammates did exist than you could try and rise up and be a leader and get your team focused. Players on xbox fortnite go try hard so I really think that league players could try hard as well.

You're... you're comparing League... to... to... Fortnite? Which part of Fortnite? Battle Royal? It's L4D-style other half? And even then, neither of those are like League. At all. Why would you compare League to a BATTLE ROYAL GAME?

And League players already DO tryhard. But, that's usually in Gold and higher, not Silver where most games are similar to Bronze games.

And this is why no one wants voice chat to be anything more than what it's at now, which is pre-made teams only.

But there is a voice chat already, but only if you're in a pre-made team. Though more than likely if you're in a pre-made team you're probably using Discord, or Skype, or TeamSpeak, or any other program that does similar stuff.

Just imagine having to listen to a kid get mad over you saying, "Hey, IE isn't a good rush anymore, try rushing Stormrazor's instead.". And then, you know... not getting punished, unless Riot has some way/can make some way to listen to every. single. game. voice chat that won't take weeks/months to do it's job.

Literally every other competitive game has voice chat for teammates. Voice chat, flamers, and muting have been around for over a decade.

Okay, seriously, STOP with the, "what if you're playing solo que?". It's literally NOT helping your case by repeating it. And here, let me answer that. Let me take this from a youtubers/streamers ACTUAL solo-q game.

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know refusing to play ranked made me useless in understanding how toxicity is in this game. Toxicity isn't just in ranked, you know. It's also in normals, arams, twisted treeline, oh and even in bot games.

When you finally figure out that being Silver doesn't make you know everything about the game, feel free to try giving Riot more suggestions.

becuse the kid with the mic from walmart would probaly scream into their mic that zed is missing in lane. but none of us would hear it becuse we all muted him. and he would probaly refuse to use the chat or pings...
