A more balanced Ranked environment

It's my understanding that MMR is the soft determining factor of your games, teams, lp gain etc. Well it just seems to be lacking imo. Instead of only relying on MMR for our games, because a freshly placed bronze 3 may not have the experience of someone who is stuck in bronze 2 with the same MMR. What if there were a way to balance game placements more. Only idea I have is Ranked Levels. Like you hit lvl 30 que for ranked, and start earning Ranked Level too, or like COD you start getting prestige levels... then there is caps for level ranges. Much like Wow, where lvl 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, etc que together, offering more of a balance for ranked games. because lets face it, norms doesnt put lvl 30 people with lvl 5 people. and since ranked is supposed to be a more competitive it would offer more of a learning curve too. and it would balance games much more.

example. I'm lvl 15 ranked, Bronze 3 with 983 mmr. It would still look for others with similar mmr, but would also put lvl 11-15 people in the que. rather then a freshly placed bronze 4 with no experience in ranked. because lets face it, it is and should a different environment, and it just doesn't seem balanced at lower elos... i feel this would truly help bring some balance to the low elo ranked play.

But I know this is just a fantasy but I thought of this while I was taking a dump, and I feel like it would really work if they could figure out a way to implement "ranked levels, Ranked prestige"

The biggest thing with this is the new people coming to ranked, would be , more likely, placed with newer people in ranked. thus offering more of a learning curve...

Your basically asking for a system that takes seniority into account. But to be honest, I don't think that number of games played, is going to be a very accurate measure. Everyone learns at their own pace, what took a person a month to figure out, might take another person 3 days, and it wouldn't accurately measure people who supplement game time with other sources. (LCS matches, Streamers, the wiki page, etc)

No I'm not asking for that exactly, I'm just ranting. lol sorry man. I'm just tired of seeing such uneven, unbalanced games, it stems from MMR being the only factor, I do understand what you're saying , but a soft buffer for "games played" or something of that sort would kinda help lower elos. imo.

I think it would be straight up better to just not allow players who just got to level 30 to play ranked until they had played a certain number of normal games, I'll be honest. They really start to learn the game once they hit level 30.

Just a note, I do know something like this wouldn't work. But I honestly feel that the balancing of games isn't balanced!
