Can we get a vote dodge system for ranked?

There are some times when it should be allowed to dodge a game in champ select. Troll picks into counters, lack of communication, someone says they're gonna feed or don't have time to play. When things like this happen and you feel like you have very very little faith that your team can win why not put it to a vote to dodge without getting a loss or messing up your series? I mean if you can see your teams going to be extremely far behind when the counter gets to 20 then why not save the time and skip the match if 3 other people agree?

If you have more than 1 troll on your team, what makes you think you're going to get 3 votes other than you? Just deal with it, you can always report the idiots afterwards.

Vote Dodge thread

As has been explained in all the threads before: No,we cannot get a vote dodge system for ranked. Adding a free dodge system would not solve whatever the problems were that were listed in the thread and would only serve to increase the number of dodges and make it harder to queue into a ranked game. The self-evident principle is: When you make a course of action easier, it results in more people doing that action, more often. And I am going to answer right now because someone is going to say "Don't make it free then! Give it a penalty. Duh!". We already have that dodge button; it's the "X" in the top-right corner of the client.

i would however agree that trolls in pre-game lobby need addressing, although i haven't seen nearly as many lately so i think riot's report/ban system is definitely making so progress. can really remember the last "mid or feed" etc. I've seen

I completely agree. This happens a lot of time in Bronze and Silver, which prevents people that are actually at the capacity skill level from getting to the ranks that they deserve. Riot please see this...
