I watch twitch and youtube quite a bit. Last weekend I saw a lot of BETA players streaming/posting URF mode game play. Is there a reason BETA players got URF last weekend? A few weeks ago they had Ascension, then the next weekend that game mode went live. Last weekend they got URF, this weekend we got Legend of the Poro King. What gives?
URF will be on the live servers April 22-24
They are testing it to see how the new champions work in urf so they can properly change abilities and to see if there are any kind of bugs. Though bugs do appear they never fix them before putting them on live. Ascension had so many bugs over looked. Poro King has so many vision bugs not dealt with.
Every single piece of new content goes on the PBE before the live servers.
