Is "Jhin Syndrome" becoming a thing?

Jhin players are starting to remind me a lot of Vayne and Lee players. It seems that every time I am facing a Jhin, whether it be bot/mid/jung, he completely destroys my team. The Jhin players end up going for 20+ kills a game with almost no deaths. But...when I have a Jhin on my team, they look like they have never played the game before. I hope this is just a phase since Jhin is new to the game and players still haven't had time to learn his kit. But I swear, this happens to me every game.

Am I the only one who has experienced this?

I've never actually seen a Jhin do well in-game. Only in Youtube videos.

Most likely this.

I'd say give him 1 whole or even 2 more patches before the skill level of Jhin players normalize.

I've had bad Jhins all over the place. My team, The enemy team, solo team... Sometimes Jhin feels like he's playing his own game, all alone. It's a little strange. Jhin clearly needs to work with his team, his kit encourages him to keep his distance and run the enemy in circles, but I also see plenty of Jhins stay at max distance for most of the game. It feels like you aren't playing with him at all sometimes.

Jhin is a little strange.

I just melted a Jhin mid even with his jungler being constantly on my tail (AP Jhin, which really sucks).

But I must say that Jhin's performance aren't bound to his own. His role is different from any other ADC and from Lee, he peels for the team and executes targets so his duties are what usually is tied to Junglers/Supports. Said this, his team must recognise good roots and exploit them while Jhin needs to root priority targets or the lone frontliner during an enemy retreat so that he/she can be melted by yours.

That said, I doubt he'll ever be considered OP and whined about as Lee or Vaybe, he will fall into being a normal pick in 2-3 weeks.

I have never seen a jhin jungler before. I have seen Yasuo , Braum kill all the hopes of Jhin .

And mostly, I have seen only 20% jhin player actually work well with team.
