HP stacking Tanks (Sion/ Chogath) need nerfs, Resistance tanks need buffs (Malphite, Rammus, Poppy)

with the removal of the giant slayer passive from LDR, there either needs to have Health stacking tanks nerfed to compensate the last whisper changes, or adding more agency for opponents to deal with HP stacking.

The competitive meta is already filled with Hp tanks in the case of sion/Cho'gath - less so of Resistance Tanks (e.g. Malphite, Rammus, Nautilus)

  1. The removal of Giant slayer will only promote sion cho'gath as there are less ways for marksmen to deal with Raw HP stacking

  2. Changes of Crit to true damage meant that marksmen are dealing less damage to HP stacking tanks as they built HP (or gets free hp - Sion/Cho'gath) and more against Armor stacking tanks

  3. 8.4 mage item update meant that mages does not have easy access to grievous wounds (GW not on core item) to deal with massive HP regen of HP Scaling TONKS, additionally Liandry's torment should have kept its 2% max hp, dps mages should be a viable alternative alongside marksmen to punish health stacking by tanks

  4. Resolve Tree gives Too much health multipliers, Grasp + second wind + overgrowth gives too much HP multiplier stats in comparison to other trees (bar sorcery gathering storm), resolve gives too much HP stats Multiplliers for people who opt into that. Overgrowth needs to be changed to Flat hp, Grasp should only give 4 hp for Melee only.

  5. Bone plating + second wind should be on the same Row, so that tanks can't bypass poke by taking both from taking resolve, this means that bone plating can be buffed again by breaking BP + SW combo.

  6. Warmog's HP regen needs to be nerfed (Nuff said)

No... All of what you just said is blind hate and reactionary bullshit. Greivous wounds will work still, as do crits, as will last whisper being more effective in general unless base armor equals less than 25% of total armor.

You shouldnt be able to 1v1 a tank to death in two seconds. And the game is always more fun when tanks can do their job; that is, pull aggro by being just enough of a threat. And of course most people who complain about "TANKS OP WAAAAH"... are complaining about a very fed champion, which is strong in a vacuum.

There is an item for adcs to handle HP tanks, Blade of the ruined king. Does % of max hp, so higher max hp = higher damage.

Granted, this does it in physcial damage, so them building armour would negate some of the damage, but get enough attack speed and that extra few damage adds up fast.

If only there was an item that ad can use that is specifically made for dealing with hp......... item 3153 , but nah, that would be silly.
