Why is Having the name of an LCS player is deemed as inappropriate?

Why is it that being a fly quest fan equates to permabanned?

What is inappropriate with having a Name called FannyHolikeBalls?

From the Terms of Use (section 5.1):

The following are examples of behavior that warrant disciplinary measures:

xi. Selecting a Summoner name that is falsely indicative of an association with Riot Games, contains personally identifying information, or that is offensive, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.

Given the slang usage of the word "balls" has a strong sexual connotation and the fact that, from the context, I doubt you meant "Fanny Ho enjoys spherical fabric or rubber objects designed primarily for sports and/or leisure," I can see why Riot may have done something about the name in question.

If you disagree you are welcome to submit a ticket to Riot Support to plead your case, but I wouldn't expect great results in this particular instance.

That said, are you sure it's not just a ban until the account name is changed? Or was this a name you changed to recently? I could see a name-change to an inappropriate name causing an issue on an account with existing punishments, but I can't say I've ever heard of it before.

Well, he did say he is referring to an LCS player and is a FlyQuest fan so maybe the name is in reference to FLY Balls?

Not sure if any of the rest means something in another language or if it's just a name. But if the ban is in reference to using the term Balls in his name, I'd say it is an absurd ban considering they have a pro player with that name.

There's probably more to the story that we'll never know, but if this was banned for "balls" that would be absolutely ridiculous.

Abd what if someone has the word "balls" as a punny indication that gives out a syndra or orianna onetrick? Sure, ive not seen a syndra onetrick with ball puns yet, but assuming there would be one, will that serve as an exception to the case or as an example for no-exception policy?
