I really hate the state of discussion/attitude in the boards, especially with the aggressive tone

TLDR: Me ranting about you guys rantings in a bad way/tone.

I have not been on the board since the beginning but I followed it between one and two years, I have been here with the horrible spam of Caitlyn nerf, Rengar revert spam, multiple biased topic and the usual circlejerk (looking at you, twitch nerf band).

It was annoying, highly biased, often a mass of people agreeing with each other because hell, what is better than b*tching together right?

But recently (and I can't throw names because the mods will be not happy about it), I really REALLY feel it is getting far far worse in term of how entiltled or just plain rude people act. So again, lot of you are between 16 and 24 years old so I don't expect that much maturity, lots of you are entiltled brat who are far too happy being an ass on internet because you suffer litteral to no consequences when in real life, most of you would have get the slap, the punch or the ignoring look of your interlocuter.

But just...

I understand you can be mad at a change.

Top not being as you want it to be. Your favorite champion rework not being what you loved to play. Riot not daring to patch in one month what other company would take a semester to even do. A new champion not being your favorite novel writing so you can intellectually jerk off on it. A skin DARING to not be on Marcel the plumber, champion played by four people who would not buy the skin instead of Bonita the beauty who always guarantee to have a healthy outcome and therefore make money (GASP, how dare a company to be about profit right, I don't want a fastfood to sell fastfood, I want the one that do chinese food in it too!).

Okay, I get it. Riot also tell you that they want you to talk, even with how bad you can all get, because despite all of you writing like braindead sheep "LC$ money" and "Riot don't care" (Oh I would love to show you what is people not caring, you would f*cking learn to be grateful) with no back-up and them doing move that aren't highly beneficial (Hey Riot, I would buy a new Ahri skin btw, I am not a coward with admitting it), they still want to keep in touch with you.

So PLEASE. Highly please. I ask of you. Freaking kiddo or terrible at anger management adult. Freaking privilegied tw*t whose worse day is to play a video game and have it not being how you want it to be. Who claim that because you loved it, it should cater to YOU (toxic relationship at its best, you all need Chtulhu).

Learn to be JUST an adult when talking about a topic. You can do it, even if you never use it, you ALL have a functionning brain and I am naive enough to believe that you can all do better. Stop being aggressive and stop comforting yourselves in your bias. Stop THINKING that what you want is something right and had never bias.

Top laner wanting to be again a stupid dual lane so they can do their d*ck contest and then try to look 'smart and cool' by obligatory having the whole four other people to be scared of them forever. ADC haters that want ADC to actually be a melee ADC with no skill and die in one hit because "GOD DAMN THEY AUTO ATTACK MAN, THESE TERRIBLE ADC" or think they are smart enough to know how to rework DMG creep or crits. People wanting revert on their flawed champions because "Hey, my champ was terrible but I had fun so how dare you first of all?" BUT HEY, surely this other champion shouldn't be strong or that obnoxious (Insert here typical Yasuo/zoe topic). Mage acting like they are weak and in the same horrible state as junglers in S3.

And I could go on. And I don't say you aren't right about some of these things, and that you shouldn't talk about it. But despite all of your freaking whining about how "Riot didn't adress this for months", it doesn't give you ANY RIGHT of being an obnoxious prick. Ever. They don't own you sht. If they want to buff yasuo to have 1000 range, they do it. If they want to give you a good rework of Mordekaiser because they love to make better champion, they do it. And either they do it or don't but they don't own you SHT. Because you decide if you want to play or not, it is in your own hands, not theirs. Don't like it? Expain why and go play the thousands of others games, go outside, go talk, do something because you can't tell me that raging about how botlane decided your 45 minuts game is feel better than doing other things that you can love.

So critic them. But stay classy and cool. Even if the issue remain. And be constructive and try to not tunnel vision. You aren't special and you did nothing else than play their games, which I do too, which other people do too. So what is your weight on playing compared to mine and others?

Let me answer this: They GIVE you this weight. They could do shitty decisions but gain new followers by other ways, there is ton of marketing and strategy that can be done other than cattering than you. Instead they believe the best strategy is keeping you and listening to you, which isn't always true (but again, I don't know how much of you guys knows about how such a big company work, and how a company work overall).

You guys don't know the fucking luck you all have.

And yeah. Terrible english. And if you think "Well, YOUR topic is aggressive", well yeah, you see how that feel. So be better, and I promise you that I will be. But I am SICK of not having any worthy topic with calm discussion or Rioters not being constantly criticized or fought because hell, why would you be wrong right?

Give me the nerds discussions, the strategy, the theory craft, the meta call. Not this shitshow of a board. At this point, we are better using twitter.

While there are some issues to the overall statement, like the example of them being able to buff yasuo if they want to (they can, but they also need to keep a playerbase and just making changes for the sake of making changes doesn't always work out that well for them), you're right that there's way too much hostility on these boards. Insults against people, insults against Riot, and saying good things about Riot gets you labeled a rather filthy title and downvoted, while raging against the people who let us play the game is celebrated. People mention when Riot does something well, but within a day the same old complaints will be back. Lore isn't good enough, they say. Bring back the old lore where the fate of the world was decided through a sport and threats from the higher ups. Screw having a cohesive world where an effort is made to have all the characters fit, we want the League.

Nothing worthwhile ever gets brought up and discussed. People get mad at the lore and when people try to offer different views they're told that they're just looking for good stuff instead of looking at it objectively like, say the people who never say anything good. A champ doesn't get a skin? Riot favoritism. Champ does get a skin? Skin sucks, riot let us down. No one is ever happy and I just get so worried about everyone because everyone seems so much happier wallowing in misery and complaints than actually doing constructive stuff. That's not a healthy way to live.

See here is my only problem and this is with ANY GAME is when there is a champ that is being long negletced because that lane isnt generally played as much. Well gee winkers riot, wouldn't it be smart to make it so more champs are playable and enjoyable and people will want skins from them? Now if there are more, unhealthy champs that need to be taken care of understandable. But if there is a champ that no one has been really playing in the past year...yeah its time to put those champs on the front. Not to thinker with a champ that is in an okay spot and can wait a while.
