Leaverbuster just sent me a message to congratulate my recent improved behavior. Thank you.

Some month ago, I created a topic about my behavior who became really bad in the game. I had my chat restriction years ago for being a stupid loud mouth answering to trashtalk and getting all hot on stupid things. But like a semester ago, depression and lot of bad events made my mood very depressive and bad. I was ragequitting (not like insulting a mate for doing bad and then going afk, I was deliberatly quitting games because I just felt very sad and shitty after even flaming from teammate or just me inting like an idiot) a lot and of course leaverbuster smacked my ass for it.

I knew I had to change, but for the first time, I felt like making a topic about it on the boards because I felt it was a very big line I crossed. I had been an ass, insulting people in argument before but I never ragequitted.

Today, I received a message from leaverbuster.

It said that my behavior in the recent games was way better and for that, my status was now improved (so kinda not on the black list I suppose?). And it thanked me.

Like just a stupid little sentence saying "Thank you for being a better teammate".

And like, god I know I have emotionnal moments but... It really move me. Because it is simply a "You did better, it is good, you did well.". Just a stupid pat on the head and it just make me feel I suceeded to make a good step forward.

It seem stupid but when depression is strong enough to make you an ass and very fragile in a game, knowing that know it can't hurt you like that, it is like... I did good.

It is like a stupid proud thing to have but I am proud and happy.

So yeah, thank you Riot. I always believed in positive reinforcement but I never had to be confront to it.

It feel good. I hope to be better again in other area of my behavior, but it prove to me I suceeded to do a step.
