4 Man Groups Need to End.

Please share this with friends or teammates if you agree or would like to help me voice my opinion! Hopefully this will reach Riot and thank you all for any support!

Four man groups need to be unavailable to every game mode out there, they are unhealthy to the community and promote toxicity towards one player in the game. Any four people can go into a game and know that however toxic they are to the one outlying teammate, all four members of it can know that the most amount of reports they will get from their team is one. That is unacceptable in my eyes.

I have an example that I finally decided to screenshot because I am fed up with having to deal with this. I was planning on playing a game before I went to bed where I declared that the champion that I would pick is Ezreal in the Mid lane. My team showed no signs of disapproval and did not ask me to play a different champion. When I banned Camille, all four of them started spamming chat with, "Wtf is wrong with you," and, "You're a jerk," (much more profane in the chat) as they claimed that I had banned a champion that one of them selected. This was a unique game for me because usually I ban the champions that I feel are overpowered, without looking to see who my team wants to play. This game was actually an exception to this, this game I looked to see if all my teammates were planning on playing champions other than Camille, and by the looks of it, none of them wanted her. I banned Camille and started to get an overflow in chat of hate, toxicity, and overall rudeness. Once the chat bar was not being spammed so fast that my message would be gone in a matter of seconds, I, as politely as I could have, said, "I would not have banned your champion if you had declared that you wanted to play her." Instead of accepting that they had been wrong, the rage continued throughout champion select, including the part where they banned Ezreal away from me and proceeded to hype up in chat the one who made the ban. This was fine with me because I know how to play multiple mid-lane champions but it was obnoxious nonetheless. My next hover was Gangplank, who unfortunately, was picked by the enemy team, and following that pick, I hovered Lux, who, if you look at the linked picture, was again stolen from me, this time from my own team. At that point I picked Brand and waited for the rage to end. It didn't though. When the screen read "Prepare your Load-out!" or something of those sorts, they were still raging at me with profanity and toxicity. At that point I dodged, figuring it was not worth playing a game where I would be blamed and ridiculed by my team for 20 minutes which would be quickly followed by a "Report (me)" at the end of the game.

Finally, I would like to mention that I am not suggesting the removal of four-man groups just for my benefit, but also for the player who queued into mid after me, and the one next game. Four man groups are an unhealthy part of the League of Legends community and it is a disgrace to see them ruin such a fun game. One more thing that is good to think about is that if four mans are removed, it will force four man groups to branch out to their friends lists and include players that they may not have played with before, which will indubitably form a stronger, more healthy community.

Thank you very much to any of you who made it this far and I genuinely hope this post, or a post like it, makes it to Riot so they can see what some people are doing to their game.

TL;DR: I got flamed for banning a champ that no one had selected and my four-man grouped team attempted to ruin the game for me.

I think riot knows 4 person Q, is toxic and lead to, what it feels like, a 9 v 1 if a little mistake was made. Which why it is not used in Flex Q. Also being part of the odd man out and part of a 4 person Q, I know I had to argue why that odd person out did what they did. It is easy to dehumanize a person on the internet, but I think there should be a way for that person to get a notice of "You are the person not pre-made with the other 4 people, are you ok with it, or do you want a new lobby?" Kind of pop up. I know Overwatch and CS:GO both have a thing that you can see if people are Q'ed together in match/game, but why not take it a step further, and allow that person to choose to play with the other four.
