Clarity on the end of season rewards

Hi, Community!

This is my first time posting on the boards and I was hoping that someone with credibility could answer my question. I was an unpunished player throughout all of season 6 and I just received my first chat restriction ever last night! When all my friends were receiving their rewards today I was not. This led to some concern from me so I went ahead and checked the League of Legends website to try to find out what criteria must be met in order to earn the rewards. What I found is as follows:

Yes, some players are ineligible for rewards because of negative in-game behavior. This applies only to the 2016 season. Here are the details:

  • Players with bans or chat restrictions active when the season ends are ineligible for this year’s rewards.
  • Players issued a ban of seven days or more in the three months prior to the end of the season (from August 7 on) are ineligible for this year’s rewards.

Now I did not have an active chat restriction when the season ended on November 7th so can anyone tell me what is going on and if I will earn my rewards?

Thanks a ton for your looking into this.

If you had no active chat restriction at the time the season ended, and you did not receive a 7 day or longer ban in the last the months of the season, then you are eligible for the season rewards.

Any punishment that you get after the season has ended should not affect your eligibility to earn the rewards. However, it can take a while for the rewards to be added to your account. The rewards go out in waves, so it's normal for others to receive theirs before you get yours. Riot's goal is to try and get everything out by the end of the 21st, so try to be patient and you should get the rewards soon enough.
