why do i fight 4 diamonds in flex

Im gold 1 my duo is plat 5 our highest on our team is a plat 2 but they have 4 diamonds. why is the matchmaking so shitty? pleasepleaseplease fix not fair they get to climb easily becuase they fight people multiple divisions below them riot. do anything please quit working on who you want to give untargetability to next and fix your matchmaking

diamond in solo. plat in flex. still, im gold, and not even a single person on our team is diamond in solo. the fact that i fight four is ridiculous. I wouldnt even mind fighting people that much higher than me if i got bonus lp for beating people so much higher than me. but i dont so its just dumb
