Daruis Q may need a channel mechanic

Hello All, so I could not help to think that the new Daruis Q Skill is missing something. give it the same treatment as Varus and Vi Q, were the champion will not perform his skill until the player release the button ((without racking up the damage over time)). This change would Help give Daruis a much controlled gameplay.

Edit 1: Darius will still have his initial Channel before he hit with his Q but instead of executing the skill after a fixed time, Let the player have the choice of when he will hit his Q ((After the initial Channel)) I don't want any added power I believe Darius is fine as he is now just a Quality of life NO BUFFS what so ever in ANYWAY ((Range, Damage ramp up, Etc)) Just the ability to when he will hit his Q. that's it.

FOR GODS SAKE PEOPLE he just wants Darius to be able to CHOSE WHEN the Q will go off (after the .75 second channel). NO added damage no added range, nothing. JUST the ability to hold it for a little to cast it at an opportune time, nothing else.

People; It isn't a buff. You can choose the channel time AFTER the 0.75 seconds (Play mind games, set up a flash+Q, etc...). And no, this isn't a "Buff in itself", as this would make champions like maokai with his knockback on Q be able to disable the channel.

I feel like the zoning capabilities would be a little over the top with this. Not terribly depending on the amount youre allowing him to channel but just a tad.

That's actually what I thought the change allowed at first. I only breezed over the changes before trying them out, and I legitimately thought it was a channel because I held down the button. I thought it'd be a great change.

And it would be differ from before how?

You can release the channel within 0.2 seconds with no penalties, effectively making the Darius Q delay change meaningless.

You could have just said "I want the delay on Darius Q removed" and the sentiment of your post will not be much different.

They cant do that. Vi and Varus channel because it increases the range as well. Unless you want it to do that, which it definitely should not.
