What is the difference between Ranked and Normal?

Greetings fellow summoners!

It may be an odd question, but what is the difference between Ranked and Normal games?

  1. Are normal games taken as seriously as ranked?
  2. Are normal games taken seriously at all?
  3. Which of those do you take more seriously than the other?

974.Would there be more trolls and toxic players in normal or ranked games? 975.How do you feel losing a normal game compared to a ranked one? 976.How are other players attitude in normal compared to ranked? ....... 579317.Will you attend Annie and Amumu's prom next year?

I know a few of these are ''how you feel'' questions, but even those give some info!

In ranked, your minimap doesn't exist apparently. Or people tape paper over it.

Ranked gives and takes LP, normals don't... That's it. There are still trolls, afk'ers, toxic players, you name it in both ranked and normals.

Ranked is better because the matchmaking is closer. At minimum, you're better able to see your mistakes and improve. I also feel like it's impossible to take normals seriously because of the poor match making. Every game is essentially decided by which team has better players- the games are never even close to even.

More trolls in normals because you can, but toxicity and attitude are identical.
