Ranking System

So does anyone else here think that Riot could benefit by overhauling their ranking system? What do we know? Well for starters it's no secret Riot has the most toxic community of any competitive game on the market and for good reason, there are too many avenues of which people can take to ruin your experience. They can AFK, continually dodge character select (making your time to get into a game quite long and frustrating), they can feed, talk trash (and when you mute them you hurt yourself because that's 1 less person to community and coordinate with on your team) or they can be just flat out bad and there's nothing wrong with being less skilled than someone else but matching a bronze level player with a diamond is a huge failure on Riots part. So listing just a few ways in which not only players can get screwed and end up feeding the toxicity that is League of Legends, but we get into Ranked play, the bread and butter of this game. I am no pro by any means but I would like to say that I understand not only the meta, but every champion to date to very good degree so by no means am I bronze level either (even though that's where I place every season). Everyone has heard the argument I am where I am because of my team and I don't mean to sound like a broken record so I wont make excuses for my rank or anyone else's BUT*, you cannot truly click on a players profile and see that they are bronze or diamond base on pure win/loss when most of their games show stats that the minions could surpass. A true to form ranking system would take those things into account when matchmaking a player and placing them in a tier, kills, assists, cs per min/hr, objectives taken, etc. That is how you rank a player not on a win or loss. EVERYONE has carried or been carried before and that doesn't mean you should go down or up in rank with those people because of it. You should be placed in a tier based on your personal statistics and not the fact someone left the enemy team or went AFK, or you had a feeder in your team. That's not accurate in anyway. I am hoping Riot reads these boards because they are one of the few games still in e-sports and competitively that still use such an archaic system to match players and this is why I think more and more people do not take it serious and just troll on x amount of accounts. With the amount of time they spend on making redundant skins and chroma colors and wards they could be improving not only the game-play but the systems of one of the most played games in the world. I am very curious as to what goes on in their day to day operations that this hasn't been brought up or looking into at least.
