Please explain matchmaking.
So I recently played a draft pick game and I looked at the rankings and I honestly don't know how we got matched up against a diamond and platinum player, shouldn't they be matched against other players of higher ranking?

Normals and Ranked have completely separate MMR. A lot of high-tier Ranked players goof off or practice things they're not as good with in Normals.
But wouldn't they want to be matched against players of higher tier, because this is the equivalent of them playing against beginner bots.
