Except that's not how this game works. You can have all the kills you want, but if you can't transfer that lead into taking down turrets, dragons, and barons, that lead may as well not even exist. The enemy team will eventually catch up. The typical strategy that high-ELO players say to use is to take your lane's turret, then start roaming to other lanes until you get one of their turrets, then go to the last lane with a turret up, take dragon when you can (ie after killing the enemy bot lane if your jungler is nearby), and gradually push your way in on all 3 lanes until the game is over. Grouping early makes you more likely to get the objectives because you'll kill the turrets faster. Any ganks on any lane should be done with the question "what objective can we follow this kill with" in mind. Top lane getting tons of ganks means that the jungler can, and should, go bot lane, kill the enemy bot lane, push the wave into turret, then go for dragon before pushing the wave back into turret and getting some damage onto it. Kills open the objectives up. Objectives open the map up. The map being open makes it easier for you to win.
You also need to understand your team comp. If you have an ADC like Twitch or Jinx, if they don't get fed in lane phase, they'll take a while to ramp up, but they will eventually ramp up and take over the game. Give them a frontline and they'll ruin the lives of the enemy team. Meanwhile, if they do get fed in lane, that'll all start so much sooner because they'll be doing massive amounts of AoE damage to the whole enemy team before the enemy tanks get enough gold to tank their damage. If your ADC is someone more like Miss Fortune or Jhin, they'll be doing a lot more damage early-mid game with a different need. Where Twitch just needs frontline and peel, Miss Fortune needs cc and hard engage and Jhin can do the engage himself, but would much prefer to follow up from long range with his ultimate. An assassin mid or jungle is really good for taking out the enemy ADC before they can take over teamfights, but they need to be cautious and wait until the enemy team is distracted by theirs, and have used a fair amount of their cooldowns. A tanky engage top lane or jungle can do a lot to help a team, because even with a huge lead, if you have to wait for the enemy team to engage, you are at their mercy.
Overall, kills help win a game, but if you don't have the ability to transfer that lead into the objectives around the map that truly win you the game, that lead may as well not even exist.
Actually you can't win by killing enemies but you can if you take objective which is enemy nexus.
hmm i like that strat
