So I'm just working if this kind of matchmaking in ranked is normal. I'm plat 1 and just curious to see how far and weird the matchmaking gets.

He's duo queued with that Ezreal but that matchmaking is incredibly fucked lol

Yup he's either duo queued. and is how match making works.

Duo queues get a Artificial boost to their Elo to make up for the Difference in rank.

its one of the biggest complaints by players to remove Duo queue because of this
