Had to JG against a Xin and Singed jungle duo, what am I supposed to do.

I just played a game against some duo partners, their JG was xin and their top was singed with smite. The entire game the singed was farming my top side jungle and my top laner did nothing. Understandable that the top laner doesn't follow singed because that what singed wants you to do. I was playing kayne, and Xin is a real good counter because the damage output and his slow makes it almost impossible to escape. The entire game I was behind in farm because I had to race to get my farm when it was up, and if I didn't get it in the first few seconds, it would be gone. Not only did I have to fight Xin and Singed in my jungle the entire game with almost zero help, their mid Talon got a quick 3 solo kills off our Ekko, so Talon was roaming most of the game, so there was so many times I had 3 people in my Jungle. I wasn't feeding or even dying much the first 10-20 minutes or so, I was playing catch up the entire game because had 2 people farming my jungle. I did gank top a little when I had the opportunity but Singed was almost never it lane, mid was always dead or Talon wasn't in lane. I wasn't able to gank bot really because I was busy fighting people in my jungle, or ADC was dead.

Anyways, the entire game there was always at least 2 people in my jungle and I couldn't do much and didn't get any help but everyone wanted to blame me why we lost.

It is literally every game that I lose, I get blamed for the loss even when it is not my fault. A lane can feed and then I get blamed because I didn't gank their lane. Then games when I do so fucking good, like that win is because of me, I get no honors what so ever. People say "Oh, honors isn't how well you do, it's if your nice or not." Well I try to be nice almost all the time and still get no honors. Anyways, I love playing jungle, but at the same time, it pisses me off. Jungle players always get harassed and get no recognition, it's worst than being a support, at least the ADC recognizes the supports job. I know that jungles get harassed all the time because I always see people on the enemy team asking us to report their jungle when it wasn't even their fault.

If you made it this far into reading this, you may why ask why did I post this. I posted this to blow off some steam and maybe run into someone that deals with the same issue.

I feel ya man.

I love jung. I usually go Udyr or Jax. I have had games where I pop off, and the support get honors. Or whoever.

If the game is going bad, I’m the first to be blamed. Example. We had a game where our mid fizz (I think, it was a few weeks ago) died, and said “later..” and next thing I see is “player has left the game”. We actually hold our own, the game hit the 35 min mark and we were actually winning the tower count. Fizz comes back in the game, and he types, “really? It’s not over yet?”. We proceed to still continue mopping the Other team up and we win. I had ever lane bitching at me during the game because I wasn’t ganking enough, and I kept responding with , “guys, mid is AFK. Play your lane and hold on tight”. I got no honors for that win.

Jungle gets no love from anyone end game, but is the whipping boy if they lose. It sucks.

I played against a toplane Taric + Yi duo a few days ago. Taric did virtually nothing in lane and fell behind like 30CS, but he just built full armor and the moment he hit level 6, Yi would visit the lane and they both press R. After doing that a second time they just continually pushed top together and were able to 2v5 anytime they had their ults up. May have been the most frustrating game I ever played.

Makes you wonder why there isn't an actual solo que. Theres nothing you can do when you get cheesed by a duo.

might depend on the type of jg u play and how early ur being active in helping the team. If im not wrong Kayn has a weak early game, and the solution for Kayn players is to power farm and get lv 6 ASAP so they can then start ganking effectively and then start working towards a transformation that will then help the team more.

Well unless you go Rhaast you're going to be an assassin, aaaand lets face it assassins are selfish champs they want to go in and get the kill. And sometimes thats going in and getting the kill completely isolated, so ur team might not even see you do it so they don't feel the impact. And if you're not feeding the kill to an ally they may not feel helped as much. If you killed an enemy laner that was harassing/killing them a bunch - well then ur only making up for lost time in their minds (if they are the ungrateful type, id be happy)

Its the same deal kinda with Rhaast your gonna be making up for lost time no matter how many knock ups u get or kills u feed to your allies, granted they will probably be alot more happy for Rhaast's team-fighting potential than Shadow A's clean up

But it all goes back to that early game AFK power farming, where as other jg's can have more effective presence in the early game, Kayn KAYN'T as much. And if you're enemy knows that, and acts on it, then you're gonna see them invading you and messing up your laners while you farm. And thats what they SHOULD do because it counters you.

What you gotta do is communcate that to your team, so they can appreciate your mid game contributions better, hey maybe u can even get them to leash u for an extra camp or 2.

But my best advice is just play a different jg if you wanna be recognized more, perhaps one that can be more supportive or is more active early. IDK try Aurelion Sol, WW, Bard, Rek'sai, Ammumu, Galio, Taric, Ivern, Hecarim, Naut, Tahm, Zac

Actually try out the mute feature. Start with mute all, then when youre ready go in unmuted, and mute people who arent worthy of talking to. Youre seeking approval by wanting to be recognized tho. Youll get honors when you go 15/2/10 bro. Good luck on the rift.

Invading is a big deal this season, and it sounds like the duo you were up against were doing it well. There are 3 ways to counter invades.

  1. Invade yourself. They're taking your topside all the time. that sucks, but it also means that they're late farming their own bot side. You can use this to your advantage by playing around the bottom side of the map. Remember your e gives huge vision!

  2. Warding. Sounds obvious but so few people think to do it when they get invaded. Ward the points they have to pass to get into your jungle. There is a spot in both side where they have no choice but to pass, ward this and you always know when they've invaded.

  3. Take objectives. If Talon is roaming, Singed isnt in lane, and xin is farming your jungle then there are two towers that are free to take (though with singed this is difficult. Also this give you priority in bot lane and therefore on dragons. Take advantage of the fact they're spending all their efforts in screwing you over and work on making your team stronger/father ahead then their opponents. When they start winning the xin/singed/talon won't be able to invade as easily, and you will be the one with the advantage.

I know this all seems obvious, and it feels back when you get completely shut down in jungle because your laners are oblivious, but from someone who is normally the one doing the shutting down (I play nocturne. Fight me if you dare) I know how people can stay in the game against me. Final thought, you're playing Kayn, either red or blue will probably build a duskblade (I know I always do when playing him). Barely a game goes by where I don't build and complete a poachers dirk. It's 500 gold for a 1100 gold item and can easily get you back into the game. Don't actively TRY and finish it asap, build your BC alongside it, but once it's complete the dirk is a great item to have, and cheap to complete for a great powerspike. It's one of the most underrated items imo given the invade meta we're seeing.

It would be easier just to upload a game, than imagine all game from this story. You cannot win all games. I'm jungler I don't care if people blame me and I don't care about honour. Play for fun not for some worthless stats or recognition of internet people you met once.

I main jungle. Removed my chat completely. In lower elo your teammates pretty much spam ping you every time they die. And all the toxic banter bleh not worth muting 9 people every game
