Rebuff Talon!

I've been playing league of legends for around two years and for pretty much the entire time, my favourite champion has been talon. Talon seems to always get the short end of the stick when it comes to popularity. And just as he was becoming more popular... He gets NERFED. The silence removal from talon has made him essentially a sitting duck. Without it, his burst can be interrupted, he can't interrupt the burst of other champions and he essentially must be fed to be effective. Basically if talon can't have his silence back, then the cool-down on his e needs to be extremely reduced, he needs to be able to blink to allies with it or it needs to do damage. A slow is not effective enough as cc, now with the lack of silence, his kit seems incomplete and like his is missing an ability. Please consider what I have said and leave your thoughts.

While I do agree that Talon is over-nerfed, frankly, his previous condition warranted it. The only counter play he had then was to survive his burst.

Lowering the CD to compensate for the lack of silence isn't a viable choice; it is already only 10 seconds. Any more CDR and we will have Kassadin 2.0. If Riot will not rework him, then I believe his E should be given more sticking power. The slow can be made to deteriorate over time, it can give Talon a MS buff instead. Perhaps he should be allowed to teleport multiple times to the same target, opposite of Yasuo's E.

Either way, removing his silence is a GOOD thing, and lowering the CDR of Cutthroat won't be beneficial for balance.

Talon was not overnerfed, he is still just as strong and could actually use more.

No... I agree with you saying that he wasn't overnerfed but to ask for more? He's mediocre as it is

All of the champs above fulfill his role much better than he does The lack of a silence doesn't make killing impossible but definitely harder, which in retrospect, was needed. If anything, Talon is underwhelming not because of the removal of silence but because of the awful compensation he got. A 0.25 slow is not good compensation. And yeah, people always say, "You do more damage because you proc your passive" Yeah, for one autoattack...and you miss out on the AA+Q because now you have to use just Q. 10% damage increase is nothing, it does extremely little. I hit a Q for 400 damage and I get 40 more damage off? That's quite disappointing.

If anything, Talon will be fine with E getting channel interruption and ward/ally jump.

I'm gonna keep saying it, because it's true; Talon's kit needs reworking.

The silence was somewhat central to his old design's premise. While I agree that, today, it's a stagnating problem for balance, it's still something that he needed.

So, if his kit relied on a bad element...now he needs a new kit to go with the removal of it.
