Decent picks for top lane?

I often attempt to be a "Top-Lane Main" just because of how independent the lane is, and how it shows that if you're better than your opponent, there will be a clear advantage. Lately i've been playing GP top just because of how inlove I am with his mechanics, any other champions besides this that I can viably take into my ranked games, most say "Riven, duh" No toxic reputation champs pls, rather not be transformed :^) TY in advance [slayer-jinx-wink]
