Nasus Q Change Idea

Hey Riot, just had a thought on Nasus and his Q that I wanted to share. But first, let me set up my line of thought:

Nasus is a champion who, I feel, lacks diversity and interesting gameplay. He is often played passively, sitting in top lane, building up his Q and getting tanky for late game. If one doesn't babysit/camp him, he gets out of control and difficult to deal with late game, but having to focus that much on one champ really isn't much fun. I feel like a change to his Q could be the one solution that may also make him more fun/diverse to play as. If his Q gave him one stack per basic minion killed, 2 stacks per cannon minion, 3 stacks per large monster/ turret, and 4 or 5 stacks per Champion kill, I feel like it would create a risk/reward for him that would help balance him out. Players would have to choose between taking longer to gain those Q stacks if they wanted to stay in lane and farm, or take a risk by joining teamfights or objective control and getting stronger faster. I know for players like myself, who have a difficult time with Nasus in lane, would feel less pressure to have to babysit the lane and feel left out of helping the team. I've tried to come up with solutions in the past for what I feel are balance or fairness issues, rather than just complain about them and expect an instant result. I hope you take this into consideration in the future if you come around to doing some work on him.

Thanks!

this wouldn't really change anything, since staying in lane and stacking the minion wave would result in more stacks than if he were to hunt for kills. +6 per minion wave (7 on cannon waves), or 4-5 if he potentially gets a kill. He would have to get more than 1 kill each time a minion wave spawns to justify not staying top and stacking.

And then we run into towers now giving him stacks, 3 stacks per turret, and now he has even more incentive to stay top and continuously stack the minions and push the wave to eventually get the turret, and those stacks. And not to mention, say, He gets a kill on his laner now he has even more stacks at such an early stage in the game which would allow him to stack more, push more, and kill his laner more.

+1 for idea, but i don't think it would solve what you think it's trying to solve.

But in a normal game where you would get about 300 CS, let's say, that's 300 stacks. Which means you would have to get 60 kills for it to be worth sacrificing CS? So you're probably better farming anyway.

Let's remove the bonus damage on his Q.

Make it completely rely on stacks so he's more stack reliant. His ult gives him enough dueling power rn even without many Q stacks.

his q is basically his whole playstyle. Can't change it. He lacks diversity and all the excitement you get from other champions because he's for beginners. He's a late game champ, so end the game like you'd do with Veigar Cassiopeia Azir before he's insanely strong.
