MMR for Support Players
I'm extremely frustrated at how I played my arse off and got placed bronze 5. it appears to me that no matter what a support main does, we can't get a higher placement. is riot trying to keep ppl down?

How is your MMR unfair as a support? Your MMR goes up when you win and down when you lose. What's so unfair to the support player?
What was your rank last season? What about through the preseason? Your seeding will depend almost entirely on your MMR coming into the placements. You will almost certainly never go more than a few divisions to a tier away from where you were.
The problem here, is that supports don't impact the game as much, I would understand if they did in higher elo, but in Gold and below, players don't know how to distribute their resources to every lane, you can feed the jinx, but if the enemy jax, or voli is fed or even the zed or katarina, there is not much that supports can do, or like bot lane in general, No go?
