Just like damage dealers, tanks shouldn't be able to tank stupid amounts whilst behind. Watching this 0-4 mao with 70 less cs than he should have withstand like 5 autos from my quinn with him just having tabis + chain vest and taking less than 1/20th of his hp in total is not okay. Just like damage dealers are shit when behind, tanks should be too. Especially with how cheap their items are.
the difference being tanks have inherent value in their kit and high base stats too, the passives armor and his ult if he chose to use it, makes Maokai tanky regardless, and tanks when behind shouldn't be squishy, they're still durable, and still relevant throughout the game as their job isn't to deal damage like a carry that needs gold and levels that needs to be ahead or be less than useful in most situations

Are we even playing the same game? Aside from like Poppy and Alistar, every other tank in the game blows up late game to crazy crit damage and penetration.
Get real dude... Tanks have Naturally high base stats and Scale off against Crit and pen. Their only Crit defence being Randuin's. And they don't really have a defence against armor pen.
But of course, you lost to a Tank so they must be op. What's next, lose to a Bard so now he is op?
