Ok, I'm good with mages at mid lane (I play Annie and Lux) But if I want to be a great assassin mid, But here's the biggie: Should I play Fizz or talion mid?

League doesn't need more fizz mains. I'd say talon just on the basis of disliking everything about that damn tuna.

Seriously though, just try out different champions and see who fits your play style better. I believe Katarina is cheaper than both of them if cost is an issue, and she's in a pretty good spot right now.
