Everyone here complaining about Lux buffs, meanwhile...

Jinx's random unnecessary W buff can just about one-shot people. Nice.

Edit for people who think this is okay: With this buff, Jinx's W can do 525 + 350%AD physical damage on a crit with IE. That's more damage than a lot of ultimates in the game, by a lot, not to mention it also slows by up to 70%. Do you think it's okay to do that, lets say 50% of the time if Jinx only decides to build a single Zeal item with her IE, every 6 seconds (5.4 with just CDR boots)? Do you know how absurd that is?

jinx is 2+ levels above everyone with a lethality/crit build against enemies with no armor in almost every clip. Vandiril makes videos meant for entertainment, not to argue about balance.

Show me normal gameplay footage with a build people would actually build on jinx to show that it's a problem.

With the same logic, nunu is completely broken https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfIjsohB9SU

This is just what vandiril does.

If you try watching the video again you'll notice him hit some people for 50% or more of their HP with only a single level on them. But what does a level or two matter when the fact stands that she's one-shotting people. What does build matter for that matter even? What happens when everyone starts building that?

I don't see how the logic applies to Nunu either, who's damage is on an ult that scales with AP and going full AP on him isn't the best idea. Jinx's W is a low cooldown basic ability. A basic ability with a 6 second base cooldown at max rank vs an ultimate ability with a 90 second cooldown at max rank, hmm...

Then jinx will be largely useless outside of a w poke machine. Her autos are where she's always going to get a majority of her strength. Not a horribly inconsistent 20-40% crit chance lethality build for an easily avoidable skillshot that's self CC and can be blocking by a minion.

If there's normal gameplay and her W is still too strong, then you'll have a valid argument.

um that WAS normal game play footing (in the op)

the Nunu link u posted completly relied on Ryze ulti to pull off his stunts.

jinx on the other hand pretty much just turned into a pre-rework that hits even except it hits even harder, slows and reveals, while also doing long range aoe 800 damage autos and/or crazy attack speed auto with a global ulti and a snare.

a SLIGHT difference...

OH NO, the easiest to dodge skillshot in the game can crit!! Seriously? It's an edited clickbait video. Of course it is going to look ap.

i love how said example is so situational that it's pretty much meaningless, and that his post has nothing else to offer

One-shotting is okay when Jinx does it

Mecha MaIphite1 votes

I can make a video of full tank nunu chunking an entire team and claim his ult is broken, but that would never happen in a real game unless my opponents were monkeys

similarly, that jinx was extremely fed, and would probably 2 shot people with just her autos anyway

the most telegraphed skillshot now actually feels like it'll do something when you land it in the late game? OH NOES! TOO STRONK RITO!

Lol, it is too strong though tbh. Dunno many mage spells hitting for that much in one hit. Morde 3rd Q got nerfed for hitting that hard and it was melee. Hell not many ults even hit for that much.

morde's 3rd hit also could come out of nowhere since you could use the first two charges on a minion and then flash into someone and hit them just like that for insane amounts of damage and that wasn't even close to being the late game. The only time Jinx will ever hit for that much is in the late game where you know... tanks should be taking most of those hits. It is incredibly telegraphed and it's not even guaranteed that you will crit with it unlike Morde that you would always hit for that much on your 3rd hit no matter what. Also, it was incredibly difficult to know if morde ever had his Q activated or not so you never knew if that next hit would be the next hit would be a huge chunk of damage or not

Blowing a long cooldown like flash is not on the same level and you know it. Also, his mace glows really bright and obvious with Q active. Changing color depending on which stack he's on. 3rd is red. It also has the noise on hit when he's charging it, though to be fair I'm not sure if all players hear the noise. It's just as telegraphed as Zap cause he has to charge it up. Don't exaggerate.

When damage is that high, it doesn't matter who it hits, they get rekt.

never noticed and a lot of people that i have spoken with never noticed either even high elo players. You are telling me to not exaggerate? well, same to you. If you get hit by the easiest skillshot to dodge in the game it's all on you. Sorry but you suck at dodging skillshots
