Can we not nerf him? He is fine, balanced and fun to play, fun to watch. If you think he is op, he has clear counters and weaknesses http://champion.gg/champion/darius His 0.75 atk speed at lvl 18 feels clunky enough and don't get me started about his E so, let's not make his Q more clunkier. Just don't ruin this awesome champion.
Its almost like teams in worlds can communicate with eachother in voice chat, and pick around what the team needs and not what each individual player wants to play
I'm actually completely fine with where Darius is, he has very clear weaknesses, which again have been shown, through worlds.
It's not completely applicable, due to the level of play and the amount of team coordination you need to do it the same way, but he's slow, clunky, needs to auto attack to properly apply stacks, so use that against him.
I also find there's extremely clear counter play to his Q, you're better off running into him than trying to run away and taking the blade each time.
I actually don't like champion.gg's stats for him right now as they're extremely shallow due to the 93% ban rate and amount of games you can actually apply to the stats.
The same happened with Yasuo, in the pre-nerfs matches Yasuo didn't have a single chance to shine (except in one with Bjergsen) and his contribution to the victories was always minimal. This didn't prevent community to spam crap about him nor the nerfs to come.
Until his Q becomes susceptible to stuns, I will not defend him from nerfs.
That one nerf is all I ask for Darius. Let us be able to stop it.

Nah that champion is awful you pretty much auto lose lane when it's another melee vs darius. That's just bad game design.
Just like the old Darius, he isn't very good vs coordinated teams (especially if they counterpick him). He is a solo queue pubstomper, nothing more.
Because a pro team with full communication is able to work around his strengths and weaknesses doesn't mean that he shouldn't be perma banned in solo que.

Uh nah he is still too strong... there is a reason why he is continually picked in Worlds, its not because he is balanced i promise. Pro's tend to abuse the most OP broken BS champions and strategies because there is a lot riding on them to win, so of course they do everything they can to win. Of course there are more things going on here like teamwork, counter-picking, out played, poor decisions, etc. that are effecting how well Darius performs. Still the fact he is so contested is proof enough how overtuned he is.
not just yet. he's not terribly OP but certainly not balanced. His early game snowball potential is a little bit too strong right now. As the game goes on yeah he's fine but before then the data suggests a good darius can crush his opposition to the point that they cant come back in less than 20 minutes.
