Any tips on fighting maokai as fiora?

I get that someone's going to say "fiora op. fiora faceroll. fiora pentakill." but it dosen't work like that alright

anyways onto my problem. Apart from annie top, maokai top is just about the only matchup that I can't win at all like for example my latest game ( the last one) i farmed until 10 with both of us staying in lane. I had 10 cs on him at basically all times until i decided to go in for a quick q vital trade in which he proceeded to all in me and i lost the trade after that his passive made him full health he dives me with galio ult and i die

after that the lane just snowballed out of control

for the record i froze the lane for like 10 minutes and i kept doing so after i died, after that though the one kill seemed to let him go for trades

also i w his root or ult everytimg and get the stun

Ban Maokai. And no I'm not being cute, he is extremely obnoxious in lane and out.

Though I do not play Fiora much at all, I would assume some early life steal with a hex would help out a lot. Maokai has some hefty base damage and his passive comes up with EVERY 6? I think.... spell casts near him. This includes from him, enemies, allies. Fiora is someone who relys quite a bit on that Q. You will have to use it sparingly when he is low and stay away from bushes he has saplings in.

Keep an eye on his stacks for his passive. After its up, you may as well try as best you can to punish him for attempting to heal with it.

Executioners is a good call as suggested previously.
