How does matching work in normal games?

Curious to know. Are you paired with people in your skill level? I know your KDA has something to do with it but I don't really know much.

The KDA means nothing really, as that depends a lot on the positions you play.

Whats decicive is your MMR (Match Making Ranking) this is adjusted by winning and losing, how much depends on your MMR, your teams MMR and the enemy MMR
