i never fully understood the MMR system and currently i am in Gold V. All that i know is that my MMR is terrible considering i am only receiving 14 LP after a win. how do i improve my MMR? I have over 400 games played and have a 54% win rate but it is hard to climb with crappy MMR :( I havent been able to get out of Gold V for a month, someone please help me realize what i need to do to fix my MMR.
You need to win even more, there is no other solution
Thus far my experience in Bronze: Victories average: 21 +/- 3 (16 matches) Defeats average: -11 +/- 6 (30 matches)
If we consider sorting players into divisions of similar expertise, then as summoners reach their typical performance division their expectation of wins & losses should become functionally equivalent to a random walk.
If their recent win/loss history differs significantly from 1/2, it can be construed as a signal the summoner is over/under matched to the pool of players in their environment, and thus would be a better fit in a different division.
