Why I believe playing a non-adc bot is a good idea in low elo

Most of the time your support abandons you and adcs really need their team to be useful. So because of this i have won quite a few games playing and even bot, since they dont really need any help to be useful. Just start relic with a relic sup.

And then you get auto attacked poked every 2 seconds by the adc eventually leading to a kill

Haha I've played Warwick bot before and surprisingly have had a lot of success just rushing item 3068 . It's not awful if you have another ranged champ on your team. Still wouldn't recommend doing it though, it auto-tilts your team.
