I Just Noticed Something

I was queuing up as Vel'koz support in team builder. I figured it would take like 1-2 minutes because that is usually how long it takes when I go support. I sat in the queue for 10 minutes..... Then, I became curious and tested something. When I select Bottom Lane-Support and choose Vel'koz (Mage), the queue estimates my time waited to be very long. When I select Bottom Lane-Support and choose a champion with support as one of their roles in their overview, I chose Morgana (Mage-Support), the estimated wait time changed to very short. Both champions are viable supports, so why am I penalized with a longer wait time because Vel'Koz's overview does not label him a support? Had I queue'd up as Bottom Lane-Mage, I would understand the longer wait time.
